Brass Woven Wire Cloth is manufactured from Low Brass wire — an alloy of 80% Copper and 20% Zinc. This composition provides excellent corrosion resistance combined with the strength and ductility characteristics that make it ideal for precision filtration and screening applications.
Compared to pure copper, Low Brass offers superior tensile strength while retaining inherent non-sparking and antimicrobial properties. It is widely preferred over bronze in applications where higher zinc content is acceptable, as it delivers comparable corrosion resistance at a more economical price point.
