Crimped Weaving Process
STEP 1 — PRE-CRIMPING
Wire Forming with Precision Dies
Wire is first formed (crimped) in precision machines using rotary dies that precisely define the spacing of the wires and ensure that the wires lock firmly together at the intersections.
STEP 2 — ASSEMBLY
Custom Assembly Machine (Loom)
The pre-crimped wires are then assembled in custom designed assembly machines (looms), producing highly accurate and consistent mesh panels.
EXTRA CRIMP
Crimped Mesh Structure
When open area is important, extra crimps between intersections provide a more rigid weave, locking and tightness for light wires in relation to large openings.
RESULT
Accurate & Consistent Openings
Pre-crimped wire cloth has very accurate openings and is woven much tighter than plain weave — typically preferred for vibrating screens and applications where sizing and strength are critical.
